Cancelling before redemption
Either a brand or a creator can cancel a deal up to 24 hours before the scheduled redemption with no penalty. Cancelling inside that 24-hour window carries a reputation-score consequence for whichever side cancels.
If a post is deleted after payout
If a creator deletes a verified post within 30 days of the reward being released, the release reverses and the reward is pulled back from the creator's wallet.
The refund and forfeiture rules for money paid to reserve or redeem a deal in-app are still being finalized (see ADR-0005: Reservation + In-App Redemption Payment Model). This page will state the exact rule before that payment flow goes live.
